Our Winery

Adjacent to our estate vineyard, Cascade Cliffs Winery is where we produce all of our wine. Here you will find multiple tasting rooms, the production area, open for the public to view, and our wine library where monthly “theme tastings” are held.
Salvaged Doug Fir timbers, cedar, blue pine, and black walnut are all part of the rustic charm you’ll find within the winery. The wall-to-wall windows on the west end of the library offer the visitor a stunning view of our vineyard, towering basalt cliffs, and Mt. Hood in the distance.
Our winery also has outdoor seating for visitors to relax, picnic, and enjoy our wine. Barrel tastings in the winery are also available upon request.
Our Vineyards
A superb growing season helps to make us shine
Cascade Cliffs began planting Merlot in 1986. The 23 acre vineyard, situated on a bench one hundred feet above the Columbia River, is backed by 400 foot tall basalt cliffs.
Our growing season is exceptionally long and warm so the ripening of varietals such as Barbera and Nebbiolo is possible. Closely following the initial planting, the vineyard became home to other classic varietals such as Zinfandel, Syrah, and Caberet Sauvignon. Committed to maintaining the rich volcanic soils common to the region, Cascade Cliffs is an earth friendly grower .
